Through its Your Better Choice in Seafood initiative, Sodexo has just doubled the available selection of Marine Stewardship Council- and Best Aquaculture Practices-certified sustainable seafood products to more than 150 SKUs for clients and customers.
Target, the second-largest U.S. discount retailer, now sells about 50 different fish brands certified by either the Marine Stewardship Council or the Global Aquaculture Alliance (Best Aquaculture Practices).
It has announced it will sell only sustainable, traceable fish by 2015.
Sodexo, Inc. has announced a comprehensive, industry-leading Sustainable Seafood Initiative that includes a commitment to have 100% of its contracted fresh and frozen seafood certified as sustainable by the Marine Stewardship Council or Best Aquaculture Practices by 2015.
