GAA has been assisting in the organization of the Responsible Aquaculture Foundation, a not-for-profit formed for educational and scientific purposes with a focus on educating aquaculture producers in responsible practices.

The RAF has 501 (c) (3) status with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. The funds required to operate the RAF will come from contributions and grants, as well as fees for teaching responsible aquaculture practices in a variety of forums.

The foundation will be supported by a GAA committee headed by George Chamberlain. For further information, contact Chamberlain at georgec@gaalliance.org or e-mail Sally Krueger at sallyk@gaalliance.org.
