Chile is a beautiful country whose name was derived from a native word meaning "where the land ends." It is over 4,400 kilometers long and reflects a wide range of climates, geography, wildlife and city life. Chile also has a diverse and well-developed aquaculture industry.

The Global Aquaculture Alliance recommends that GOAL participants take a portion of their travel time to explore the host city, Santiago, and surrounding area.

A selection of tours has been arranged by Destination Management Chile S.A. To participate in the general tours, e-mail John Marquez indicating your preference, and DMC Chile will reply with confirmation and payment details. Minimum number of participants required. Limited on-site registration on November 6 may be available.
